All our cultivations are certified Organic in compliance with European Regulation 834/2007 and the control body IT-BIO-009. Respecting the environment, biodiversity and natural resources is an essential value for Ekstra. That is why it implements sustainable, safe cultivation systems, making each product traceable and maintaining its organoleptic characteristics.

The demand for natural and organic products is growing rapidly, yet 70% of the Italian medicinal product need is imported. What is more, from countries where it is difficult to be sure of origin and the cultivation techniques used. Ekstra offers itself as a valid alternative for the Italian chain, also forging relations with international firms, only offering high quality products that do not use fertilisers, chemical plant protection products and GMOs.
